Welcome boat trip in Luleå Archipelago – WEDNESDAY evening
For those registered, join us for a delightful boat trip on Wednesday evening as we explore the stunning Luleå Archipelago.
Two boats will depart at 18:30 from Laponia Shipping’s dock (click to see map), conveniently located near the conference venue, Kulturens Hus. During the 1½-hour sail to the island of Junkön, enjoy mingling and light snacks onboard. Our route will take us via the HYBRIT pilot plant, offering a unique glimpse of this innovative project.
Upon arrival at Junkön, we will spend about an hour on the island. Enjoy hot smoked salmon prepared by local fishermen, Junköfiskarna, and explore the archipelago museum and the historic windmill. The authentic archipelago village also hosts Gallery Agda & Valborg, featuring handicrafts by northern Swedish artists, where you can shop for unique souvenirs.
We will then return to Luleå arriving back at 22:30.
It’s important to note that there won’t be any dinner provided (only mingel food), so if you wish to have a substantial meal, you should arrange this beforehand.

Conference Dinner – THURSDAY evening
After the second conference day, we conclude with a 3-course dinner (for registered participants,) at Kulturens Hus, floor 4 (restaurant).
